The Lightning Thief ending

***Book Ending Spoilers***

Percy and his friends travel to the entrance of the underworld. There they meet a man at the podium. He inquires how they died, but they are soon discovered to be lying. Charon is bought however by the large amount of gold drachma they possess. He allows them to come onto the boat. As he leaves, the lobby and leads them to the boat, his appearance changes.  The somewhat pleasant figure that stood before them is now a figure whose appearance is dreadful. Black robes, a transparent face, and eyes filled with darkness. 

The boat travels, through the underworld and they see the spirits of the deceased. River Styx is polluted, a dark black and lifeless river with items in it.  Soon they depart from the barge and reach their next challenge. Cerberus the three headed hellhound, soon sniffs at them. He begins to growl, but Annabeth is able to distract him. She throws him a ball, which he chews on allowing them to pass through the line undetected.  They walk through the Fields of Asphodel, in which Grover is almost sucked into the pit of Tartarus.  The furies are overhead, watching the lines as Percy becomes ever anxious to leave. 

The approach the palace of Hades, a dark and ominous structure.  Once there they see the dead soldiers from all different time periods. All of them are guarding the entrance to the palace.  They are given permission to enter. Inside stands Hades, Lord of the Dead.  He is none too pleased to see them, and accuses Percy of being a thief. He reveals that his weapon the Helm of Darkness is missing in addition to the lightning bolt of Zeus. Hades becomes angry as Percy denies his involvement in the theft of those objects. Hades instructs him, to look in his backpack, inside lies the weapon of Zeus. He gives them an ultimatum return his property and the bolt and he will set them free, with Percy’s mother as well.

With only three pearls, they decide they will come back for his mom. Now Percy knows who tricked him, and is determined to confront him. They are brought to shore, as their adversary arrives. Ares the charlatan is waiting for them. He is not satisfied to see Percy still alive. There he reveals the plan to start the civil war among the gods. He takes out the helm, and quickly returns it. Percy is able to deduce that another more sinister force was responsible for formulating the plan to send the bolt to the Underworld.  Percy challenges Ares to combat, at first he denies him, but he accepts. Percy and Ares duel, resulting in the police showing up and a crowd gathering to watch the spectacle. 

Ares doesn’t anticipate a strike, in which Percy is able to wound his heel. The god is wounded and bleeding golden ichor. He warns Percy of his curse in battle, before transforming to his true form. The furies arrive, and he turns over the helm. Percy begins to realize what is in the pit.  The news report comes out, entirely different from the events that occurred. In this version Ares is a lunatic, who abducts them, and Percy is the victim who fights him off. They are able to get tickets to a flight in New York. Percy and his two faithful friends separate as Percy goes to Mount Olympus. He enters the lobby of the Empire State Building. There he is given a key card, a red button appears and he is on his way to his appointment with destiny. 

Mount Olympus is a marvel, to Percy. Percy is amazed at how large, Olympus really is and begins to pity the god of the Underworld. Percy walks into the throne room; there he sees twelve large thrones. Zeus sits atop his platinum throne, as Percy begins to feel small and lesser, in the presence of such beings. Next to him, was the undoubtedly, the brother of Zeus. His throne was very different; Percy approaches the throne and addresses his father.  Percy tells the entire story to Zeus; after he is done he tells them he believes another force was influencing Ares. Zeus as an act of gratitude spares Percy. Poseidon his father tells him exactly what lurks in the pit. Kronos the Titan Lord was cut up into a thousand pieces and cast off into the pit of Tartarus. Percy is convinced however, that he is beginning to rise once more.  Poseidon tells him that when he returns home, he will have a package waiting.  Percy returns home, and is happy to be done with the ordeal. Once home, he tells his mother the entire story. Gabe his stepfather strikes his mom, and in that instant he starts to loathe him even more. As they leave and head to Percy’s rooms the package, is sitting on his bed.

He realizes without opening it, what it contains. He offers his mother the chance to get rid of Gabe for good. She refuses, and Percy leaves for Camp Half-Blood. A feast is held in their honor for returning from their quest. They have the admiration of mostly all the camp, with the exception of the Ares cabin. Percy receives a letter one week later. Gabe, had disappeared mysteriously, and his mother had sold a life like sculpture to an art gallery. Grover leaves in July to begin his expedition for Pan the nature god.  Overhead as they say their goodbye’s fireworks explode commemorating the Fourth of July. July disappears as summer begins to leave.  Percy is satisfied with the work he has done, completing the quest and returning the stolen objects. Yet he still feels tense and not at ease.

The last night of summer has come, and the campers gather around. They celebrate Percy, for completing the quest and he receives a bead for his first year. A letter arrives the next day informing Percy that he must make his decision on whether or not he will stay or go to live with his mother.  The campgrounds have become deserted as campers prepare to leave or to stay and clean their cabins.  He sees Luke practicing on dummies and is in awe at his skill. Luke convinces Percy to come with him into the woods. He seems flustered as he begins to speak. There he tells him he is leaving the camp. He summons a scorpion and warns him not to reach for his weapon. Percy finally realizes what the last line of the prophecy meant.  

Luke is a traitor; he buys time by beginning to hold conversation with him.  He reveals that he has hid a hate for the gods, and is angry for what they did. Luke tells Percy that it was him that stole the lightning bolt, and the helm. Ares was influenced by him and let him go. Punished by Kronos for his failure, he bide his time until Percy arrived. Summoning the hellhound he made it appear as if the camp was unsafe. Luke leaves Percy and the scorpion lunges. He kills it but the damage has been done. He has been stung and soon fall unconscious, he is lucky enough however that two nymphs bring him to safety. 

Percy awakes, alive and well. He tells Chiron and Annabeth of Luke’s betrayal and his devious plans to destroy the gods.  Annabeth tells Percy that she will not be staying the year at the camp, instead at her dads over the year. Percy looks over the Long Island Sound, for the last time before he departs.  He has made his decision and hopes it is the right one, but only time will tell as he prepares to leave the camp.

The Power of Six ending

The Power of Six Ending

The quaint town, in which Marina resides in, is disrupted. The Mogadorians have discovered her location, and are closing in. Her Cepan is killed sacrificing herself for her to escape. Adelina her last link to her past life is severed, as a mogadorian blade is plunged into her body.  The man, whom, she thought was a mogadorian, turns out to be her savior. Killing the assailants and buying them time. The girl who Marina befriended while in the orphanage is also accompanying him. Puzzled and confused they quickly tell them who they are. Ella is the tenth member of the garde, a shocking revelation. Only nine went on the ship, or so they thought. There was however, another carrying her and Crayton, her Cepan.

Mogadorians soon swarm the town, relentlessly pouring in droves. All with the intention of killing the garde there.  Six arrives in time, to aid in the defense of the garde, there.  Hector Marina’s only human friend comes with transportation and they take off leaving their enemies in the dust. Meanwhile across the globe, in Virginia Four and Sam are trying to infiltrate their enemy’s base. Their intentions are clear, to retrieve their chests from unfriendly hands. Using the Xlitharis Six transfers her power, and gives them a map to help them. She departs to help, the others in Spain. Now alone, they travel until they reach the mouth of the cave.  They become invisible bypassing the security, and gaining access to the cave.

The base is not like any cave, it is a massive base. Soldiers walk and patrol the base with a large arena in the middle. As they try to locate their chests, and leave they see many disturbing things. Cells with people inside, and other horrific beasts inside. After wandering they eventually locate their chests, inside lies a beast guarding them with an electrified fence.  They bypass the creature and take their chests, but they are too late. The damage has been done, their invisibility has worn off and the base is now alert of their presence.  Fighting soldiers off, they get to the cells, inside they find a boy. They set him free to find out he is a member of the garde being held captive.  

With their newfound ally they fight off their enemies, but for every mogadorian they slay more come to take their place. Sam is caught in the heat of battle; they beckon for him to run. He stays behind until he is overtaken. Four and Nine escape, just as they do Setrakus Ra leader of the mogadorians arrives. Nine infuriated and vengeful is eager to exact his revenge for the fallen Loric. A barrier comes up, and their access is denied. With no way to enter, they have no choice but to leave. Four swears that he will come back for Sam.  Four and Nine leave the vicinity and head north. 

As the group of four takes off, in the truck mogadorians pursue firing weapons in the hope of derailing them. They are killed, but more keep coming. Monsters are released upon them as they leave the truck and run on foot. In the skirmish Hector is killed, but he before dying he is at peace. With his ailing mother healed, he has repaid the favor, Marina gave him. Together they rally, and dispatch the remaining mogadorians. Now united more than before, they are becoming more powerful. The garde are beginning to find each other, and for the first time are starting to pose a threat.

The Rise of Nine ending

***Book Ending Spoilers*** 

At the end of the last book, three members of the garde were reunited. They are hunted by the ever desperate Mogodorians. This book is no different. Four and Nine have escaped the base, only they are isolated and alone being pursued and are very weak. Four and Nine are captured by the FBI but something is very wrong, they carry their enemies advanced cannons and other assortments of guns. They discover the US government has sided with their foes. 

Six, Marina, Ella and Crayton, travel to India to investigate reports of one of their own. Crayton is convinced that the reports are true, as the locals refer to him as a reincarnation of Vishnu. Together the group arrives there, and is taken to a group who serves Vishnu. Upon meeting them they elaborate that a rival group intends to kill him and all his associates. Commander Sharma takes them to the mountain; all three of them relax and wait.

Ella looks through marinas chest and finds glasses. She puts them on and sees a projectile gliding through the air.  They jump out in time and the convoy has a massive firefight. The four escape to the mountain accompanied by the commander who miraculously survived the explosion. A lone soldier lives and holds them off. The soldier runs to the enemies and grabs an RPG aiming at the mountain. Swiftly they kill the traitor, and disappear into the safety of the peaks. Four and Nine are being prisoners under their human captors, they are eager to hear of their plans. They easily escape and are told to go west. As four returns to capture the agents they have vanished, with them the critical info.

The group ascends up into the mountains and are told they must overcome trials in order to meet him. One by one each the garde completes them. After completing their trials, they are admitted to see the boy. He introduces himself as the eighth and tells them everything he has learned. There they learn of remarkable things, he tells them of his own special abilities as they endlessly converse. While speaking he tells them of his own tragedy, and his struggles. His guardian was betrayed by a human and was later murdered by the person he was so mesmerized by. He survived and killed the attackers, remaining in the mountains to avoid contact.

As they exchange stories, the group begins to bond more. They explain how the conflict has been slowly escalating in magnitude. With both their enemies becoming far more reckless and careless. Eight shows them an ancient cave with carvings in the interior etched in. He explains that it acts as teleporter enabling the user to travel great distances. On the wall there is however a face that was scratched out. As they look at it closer, they determine it is Eight. As eight leaves the cave he comes back with blood on him; the mogodorians have arrived.

Four and his newfound companion nine are traveling across the U.S. trying to leave the region of Virginia. Four is troubled and cannot seem to sleep, as he begins to experience frightening nightmares. He is woken however, by his friend from very vivid and horrifying dream. The two arrive in Chicago, where it was once a home to nine. They go to his old home as they take time to relax and enjoy themselves. Rummaging through their chests, they come upon a map with dots on it. Surprised at the dots they start to come to conclusions on what they are. As one of the dots is in the southwest, they recall what the agent said; New Mexico. There are also seven other dots including themselves beside the ships.

As series of explosions rock the cave from the outside, eight is gushing blood from his ribs. Marina begins to heal him, as Six attempts to hold off the horde outside. The cave begins to worsen as more rock begins to fall from the ceiling. In the heat of battle Crayton is wounded as he flies to the center of the cave.  Ella begins to become hysterical, but there is nothing to be done; he is dead. The four teleport away as they say goodbye to their fallen friend.

Meanwhile in Chicago, as they are monitoring the map, the dots move a great distance in seconds. One is in New Mexico and the other three are all together in Somalia. They decide that they must fight or die one by one. They decide however to head to Paradise, against four’s wishes.

As the group awakens from the teleport they are dazed and confused. They find only three of their four, with Six missing. She is in a desert as the heat beats down on her. With nothing but desert for miles, she is hopelessly lost. She wanders aimlessly until she stumbles upon an abandoned ghost town. As she is claimed by the heat, she sees three helicopters before passing out. Ella, Marina, and Eight are struggling under the pressure of the water, as they frantically try to escape its tight grasp. Ella begins to hear a disembodied voice emanate from within her head. It is the voice of Six whom was separated from the rest. She hears her speaking to her in her mind, telling her she is in New Mexico. As they teleport away they are again whisked away into darkness.

Four, is in his hellish dreams once more, only this time with a familiar face, Nine. They stand in a stadium as their enemies surround them with their leader standing in the center. As they try to fight them off using their legacies, they are helpless as they lose them. They fall down into the darkness. As he awakens for the first time he and Nine are in agreement. They must head to New Mexico no matter what. They pack up massive amounts of firearms as they prepare for a showdown in the sands. 

Six awakens after becoming unconscious, instead of waking on the hot sand she is in a metal room. A voice comes on through the speaker asking her a series of questions. He instructs her to drink the water, and begins his inquiries. She becomes less tense when she is informed he is apart of the FBI. The voice loses its calm, as it begins to become furious at her responses. The words that leave her mouth aren’t hers and she is surprised. The agent admits working with the mogodorians; this fact is somewhat frightening and intriguing to her.

The trio awakens but not at their desired destination, instead they are at Stonehenge. They think that she has begun to develop another legacy; telepathy. Ella buys time to fix the monument before leaving. She distracts the security guards who realize nothing. Afterwards they teleport away in the hopes of reaching her in time.

Six has escaped, from her cell as she stealthily tries to find the exit. An alarm is triggered as armed personnel run up and down, trying to apprehend the culprit. She stumbles upon a cell with the traitor that almost got them caught sitting in it. Sarah is bruised and grimy sitting in the cell in a corner. She approaches and begins to converse with the inmate. Beginning to ask a lot of questions, Six answers the ones she can. Becoming increasingly demanding and repetitive with her questions. As soldiers come by, her body begins to shake and morph. What now stands there in the place of Sarah Hart is a figure from her nightmares. Setrakus Ra holds her as he interrogates her; he challenges her to one on one combat.

Fighting Setrakus Ra by herself, she holds her one for a while but is overpowered. He morphs into her and waits for the unsuspecting guests to arrive.

John and Nine eventually make it to New Mexico, they see action occurring and are eager to join. They come to see three others fighting off helicopters and military vehicles. With no time to lose, they quickly introduce themselves and together the now six members of the garde infiltrate the base. As they make their way through they find their way to the stadium. They rescue Sarah along the way, and proceed to the middle. As Eight runs toward Six, he is stabbed by her, as she morphs into a new form. Setrakus Ra now stands there ready for combat. They rush to the aid of their comrade and protect him from the wrath of their enemy. In an action packed battle they relentlessly fight off Setrakus Ra. Towards the end of the battle Setrakus Ra flees, leaving the six garde to leave the compound. Now almost at their full strength, they seek out the last member to be found; number five.

I Am Legend ending

The cavalry is coming equipped with the force of an army. Meanwhile, Robert scopes out the vampires surrounding his home. This time, the vampires have an insidious agenda.

Robert knows he will need to make a decision to confront the vampires. The car noises and the vampires activate a PTSD type of moment. Robert decides to remain on the sidelines, allowing the outsiders to fight the vampires. Vampires are dropping like flies in the night.

Robert is quiet not to attract any attention to his home. These men mean business, showing they hold experience taking down evil vampires.

Dark suited vampire hunters, out of some secret agency, storm the flock of vampires. They stake the monsters, splashing blood on the street like a Jackson Pollock painting.

Who are these mysterious men? Robert watches the vicious nature of the killings, not understanding the purpose of the slayings.

Robert didn't feel the vampire massacre sought to resolve the misery. He revealed emotion for these demonic souls who never asked to become vampires.

Ben Cortman entered his mind? Robert intended to find Ben before the men reached him. He wanted to prevent Ben from dying such an unthoughtful death. He disliked the vampires, especially Ben Cortman. But for the most part, Robert showed empathy when staking a vampire in the heart.

Robert is having a change of heart. He complained, prepared and fought against the vampires. He survived in a post apocalyptic world after an infection swept the globe to end the world once and for all.

Robert is now showing sympathy for the dangerous vampires that held him hostage in his home. He grew fond of his nightly company. It saddened him to watch the savages execute the vampires without a lack of sympathy. The vampires were once humans like the dark suited men.

Cortman attracted attention to his location on the rooftop. Robert feared Cortman would also be put to death. He pondered on Cortman dying in such a gruesome way, as an alarming moment. He switched sides with the vampires, developing feelings for the very monsters that have plagued his existence.

The men killed the vampires in a cold blooded manner. It is obvious they didn't stake the infected to show any respect. Their mission sought to seek out and destroy the enemy. Robert grew frantic, worried the men in black would eliminate Cortman too. Cortman deserved better than to die a meaningless death. Even enemies should be given a peaceful exit to leave their life behind.

Cortman inched away from the men. The men wasted time; they pointed their rifles at Cortman and fired away at a vampire they presumed as dangerous. Robert could imagine the impact of the bullets, feeling as if he were Cortman standing on the rooftop. The metal fragments entered Cortman's chest, piercing through flesh to drain out his remaining blood.

Cortman crawled on the roof. His face looked much paler than usual. Robert watched Cortman struggle to move, as the seconds transcended a lifetime. Robert displayed strong emotion, the kind of remorse that no ordinary man should feel in a lonely world. Robert got used to living a routine life.

The vampires gave Robert a reason to live. Even though Ben Cortman frustrated Robert, he rather show respect in staking his friend the moral way instead of watching these men go on a rampage.

The men in black finished off Cortman, spraying the remaining bullets at his ravished corpse. Cortman put up a good fight, albeit his body finally gave up. He fell off the rooftop and landed on the street. Robert heard Cortman's body crash on the ground, almost mistaking this thump as his sporadic heart beat.

Robert trembled. He tried his best to regain his composure, especially after witnessing a cruel execution. He hoped the men would leave quickly, as he agreed to not fight them. Robert accepted to join the men in black to stave off further violence. The men in black began shooting at Robert's front door.

Robert had an uncontrollable shake, realizing the nightmare would now become a reality. The firepower blasted the front door down. Two men entered Robert's home. Robert rushed into his bedroom, taking cover while holding a pistol in his hand. He knew this moment signaled his end. These men were setting their sight on apprehending or killing Robert.

Robert is on brink of entering a gun battle. One of the men in black shouted that he has a gun. A gunfight erupts. Robert shoots his pistol sporadically, not in any one direction. A man lets out a loud gasp of pain.

Robert is hit on his chest, and then drops to the ground. Wincing in pain, Robert manages to shoot one last round off. He reaches for his pistol, but a large boot crushes his hand and breaks it like a twig. Robert's chest pain was unbearable, nothing that he ever has experienced in his entire lifetime. His head burned with enormous pain.

The men removed Robert from his home. Robert is taken away from the only safe haven that kept him alive. His chest pain put him into a deep trance, putting his mind into an unconscious state.

Robert awaken in a foreign location. All he could think about was this referring pain and cold sensation radiating from his chest wound. White bandages dressed his chest. Robert realized his injuries are severe.

Robert felt his impending doom growing near. He staved off an end that finally reached his last moments. A mysterious person entered the room. It was then that Robert prepared to be executed, as an enemy of the state. He counted his blessings, ready to meet his end respectfully and with dignity.

A red head woman showed sympathy. She talked to Robert, questioning him about why he continued to stay in his home. Robert responded with the mere fact that he just lived his life, falling into a daily routine which most humans were once accustomed to, while living in the old world.

She told Robert that he asked for his pain. He willingly fired at the two men, who were given orders to take him in without any resistance. She explained about the revolutionary group whose mission was to exterminate the walking dead. It was not acceptable to keep the dead and living in the same world. Society couldn't move on without disposing of the dead.

The woman knew Robert was the last of his kind. There was no person like him on the face of the Earth. She admitted that Robert was the last bridge to the old world. Robert faced a challenging test to overcome his wounds. He coughed up blood, telling the redhead woman to not allow killings to become a heartless vendetta.

The woman reached into her blouse to pull out a package. She hands the small package to Robert. Robert is in too much pain, though he realized what this moment means to his mental and physical anguish. The woman showed Robert compassion. Her identity is revealed as Ruth. Ruth leaves Robert alone, which is the last time the two will be together.

Robert lifted up his injured body. He looked outside the window to see the new world. The citizens looked back at him staring out of the window. Robert didn't judge the people who viewed him as a minority, a person who represented the past. He realized he didn't belong in this new world, just like the vampires who once lived as humans in the old world.

Robert opened the envelope. He accepted his end with courage and understanding. Robert swallowed the pills. The medication traveled throughout his body like sodium pentothal in a capital execution. The new tomorrow is here to stay. Robert realized seconds before his demise...

The End

Catching Fire ending

Katniss and her fellow tributes are brought back to the capital to fight once more to entertain the residents and president. She and Peeta will represent district 12 this year with Haymitch as their coach. This time however, the past victors will be chosen to fight in the arena again to relive the horrors.

On the way there, they watch videos of others threatening tributes that pose conflict to their victory. Therefore, they try their best to learn new techniques before entering the bloodbath known as the Hunger Games. They take tours of the districts, preparing for the games prior to arriving in the Capitol to await their fate.

In the Capitol, they have only three days to prepare and to potentially learn lifesaving techniques. They ally with Finnick and his partner Mags. They go down the elevator, where Katniss is reminded of the horrors of the last year, Thus she realizes she will endure them once more.

The games begin. Katniss has a good lead over the others, especially as the Cornucopia is surrounded by water. She is lucky enough to be a skilled swimmer. She gathers a bow and is nearly killed, but Finnick murders the bloodthirsty competitor from five. They meet up.

Mags and Peeta and run off before the careers arrive. The group runs off into the jungle before they are caught in the initial fighting. They run until they are convinced no one is following them. Peeta runs into the force field surrounding the arena. His heart stops momentarily, but Finnick revises him after performing CPR.

The group rest knowing that in their tired and drained state, they will pose no threat and will be easier to kill. Finnick and Mags keep guard, while their wounded teammate Peeta recovers.

Katniss goes off in search of food and water. She finds food in the form of the nuts which most animals consume, but has no luck retrieving water. Their sponsor parachutes in a tub. She hasn’t had the faintest clue on what the instrument is used for and deems it worthless.

Katniss goes back to camp, bringing with her food. She is unsuccessful with delivering water. They suffice with the rations they have on hand. Therefore, the three of them sleep except for Katniss, who thus stays on guard to watch for any signs of trouble.

Lightning strikes and a mist roll in followed by fog. She gasps for breath, awakening the others. They gather their belongings to quickly run off away from the fog. Finnick carries Peeta. Katniss lifts and holds Mags. Mags sacrifices herself to buy the others time.

Peeta, Katniess, and Finnick emerge from the jungle, as a female tribute associated with six, saves them. They run into Beetee, Wiress and Johanna, who form an alliance. With this large group, they head to the cornucopia. They are ambushed by the pack of careers.

Wiress is killed in the attack; two of the careers are also killed as well. The remaining two disappear into the jungle. Katniss remembers Wiress repeating the words 'tick tock' over and over again. She realizes the arena is set up in a way that each hour brings a new challenge in each sector of the arena.

Beetee comes up with a brilliant plan to hook up a wire to the highest tree and electrocute the rest of the competitors in the arena. The group divides to carry out the plans. Johanna and Katniss go to wire the tree to the ocean. She tackles Katniss as she cuts her tracker out of her arm.

Johanna distracts and directs the savage tributes to follow her. Katniss sees Beetee, as he destroys the force field. She passes out seconds later, after being temporarily paralyzed. She is told that Peeta has been captured along with Johanna. They tell her of the plan, in place, to overthrow the capitol and how most of the tributes were willing to have themselves killed for her survival. Gale informs her that her family made it out safely out of her home district. He tells her that 12 no longer exist.

Necromancer ending

***Book Spoilers***

Josh awakens from his slumber. He is unsure whether or not he was actually dreaming.  He finds himself in the presence of the Magician Dee and a woman he doesn’t recognize. He grabs Clarent and threatens them. 


Josh is ready for fight if needed. Dee persuades Josh to lower his weapon. He then tells Josh he can teach him the greatest magic of them all - Necromancy. Thus, this magic involves reanimating the dead.  He is intrigued by this offer. 


Dee tells him he can raise people that knew the Flamels and question them about the couple. Josh is intrigued and asks how he can obtain this magic. Dee is delighted and tells him all he must do is summon Coatlicue, who can grant it instantly. 


Flame, Perenelle and Prometheus and can only watch through the skull in horror, as they can do nothing. Niten, Aoife and Sophie are on a race against the clock to rescue her brother from the clutches of Dee and Virginia Dare. 


Machiavelli and Billy are on a boat and are heading to Alcatraz to awaken the monsters stationed there - to unleash chaos on the city. As they set foot on the island, they are met by the Sphinx, who offers to buy the loudmouth American. 


Josh begins the ceremony for calling her. While he begins, Dee and Dare converse on how they will feed the boy to the Mother of all Archons. He tells her his backup plans should something fail. She will play the flute and put the monstrosity back into its sleep, and force her back into the Shadowrealm. 


Should Josh have cold feet and try to back out, they will push him in. Niten, Aoife and Sophie have arrived at Enoch Enterprises, knocking all guards unconscious. They head up to the top floor, but are amiss as there is nowhere else they can go.


Sophie feels him below. They go down and she feels his presence above. Niten and Aoife know there is a secret floor. Dee smiles as the stench of serpents fill the room. The Archon is getting closer. Coatlicue has been freed from her prison. He sees a beautiful woman, but only by Dee’s spell. 


The reality is that the Archon is hideous. Sophie, Niten and Aoife bust into the room. They surprise the magician and his female companion. Sophie lashes the Archon. Josh can do nothing as his aura is weakened from calling her. He doesn’t comprehend why his sister is hurting her. He tells her to stop but she doesn’t listen.  


Dee is occupied fighting Niten, who has the upper hand. Aoife and Dare are in combat. She unlike the others is doing better. She has Aoife right where she wants her. Coatlicue is angered by Sophie’s attacks, retaliating against her hair made of snakes spitting acid at her. 


Aoife breaks free from Dare. She yells to Sophie that this is for Scathach, her sister. She leaps onto Coatlicue, viciously fighting in the process. Aoife forces her back into the Shadowrealm. With that the Archon and Next Generation are gone. 


The building begins to crumble and the Doctor grabs the swords, throwing one to Josh. Sophie outstretches her hand to her brother, but he leaves willingly with them. Niten and Sophie escape and he tells the Flamels the bad news. Aoife is gone forever, Josh has joined Dee.
